Just the concept of a virtual reality game got me convinced to read this wonderful new release by Marie Lu. All in all, I think this book was a fantastic read. In Warcross, the conflict is entirely different, but I still get Sword Art Online vibes from the plot. The moment I read the synopsis of the book, it reminded me so much of Sword Art Online, an anime that tells of the main character being stuck inside a game and when his character dies, he also dies in real life.
